A boutique gem with timeless charm, The Ashton Hotel blends historic sophistication with modern comfort in the heart of downtown Fort Worth. Set in a beautifully restored 1915 building, it's just a short walk or ride to major concert venues and nightlife. With its upscale vibe and friendly service, it’s a favorite for music fans looking to balance energy and elegance.

Why Concert-goers love it

Located just an 8-minute walk from the Fort Worth Convention Center and a quick drive to Dickies Arena, The Ashton Hotel puts you right in the center of the action. After the show, return to a peaceful room thanks to the hotel's quiet, boutique atmosphere. The 24-hour front desk is a major plus for late-night arrivals, and with free WiFi and a comfy lounge, it's easy to wind down post-show.

Food and Drink Options

Enjoy American cuisine at the hotel’s own restaurant, ideal for a pre-show bite or a post-concert wind-down. There’s also a bar on site and plenty of local eateries within walking distance. While there's no 24/7 room service, the hotel does offer continental breakfast—a welcome way to ease into the morning after a late night.

Nightlife Options

With its central location in downtown Fort Worth, you're a short stroll or ride from lively bars, lounges, and music-centric spots. Whether you're looking for cocktails, craft beer, or a second live set, options abound. The hotel’s own bar offers a more relaxed vibe for those looking to keep it low-key.

What People Say

Guests love the charming architecture, friendly staff, and walkable location. Many mention the quiet, relaxing rooms and the hotel’s classic feel. It’s praised for being clean, well-kept, and a perfect base for exploring downtown Fort Worth.

Areas for Improvement

Very standard 3* hotel

Liked: Location, Suite room size
Disliked: They really need to repair and upgrade so many things. Very standard 3* hotel. One lady at the front desk isn't the most welcoming.

Good value if you aren't...

Liked: The room was very spacious with a large sitting area. The bathroom was large, but kinda odd. The location is fantasic, and the value is great if you aren't snobby about the state of things. High ceilings make things feel even more open and spacious. It felt like there were some cheap attempts to modernize - like cheesy art and snakeskin wallpaper in the bathroom (odd mix with faux marble and blue tile). We were only in the room to sleep and get ready so was fine for us. The location is great - super close to a lot of things.
Disliked: This place is in real need of some updates. I get that it is an old hotel, but the furnishings and general upkeep were lacking. The crazy jettub/shower combo in the bathroom was not only odd, it was in disrepair, and water leaked all over the bathroom floor. Not all of the outlets worked, and some seemed kinda scary when attempting to plug in. There was a stain on the beadsheet - that's really not ok. The staff were very friendly when they were around. Most of the time the lobby was just empty.

Worth the money but exp...

Liked: Clean and centrally located.
Disliked: Not all of our room Keys worked. Not only the first day but it was several attempts to be able to get into the three rooms I paid for. Ended up booking at a different hotel for the third room since we were not able to access the room.
