Liked: Good location - lovely views.Room was good sized and in good condition only minor complaint was the mattress was too soft for my liking.Shared kitchen was large and had everything you need.
Disliked: The room was not made up/refreshed during our stay (3 nights).Unfortunately a large group had the lounge booked out during our stay so this was unavailable, if you want to use it check before hand.

Not worth the money

Liked: Beautiful views, clean bathroom and heater in the room. Staff helped me with the bag and was generally friendly and kind
Disliked: If I was paying the third of the price I've paid I'd be happy, half even. The bedding was smelly, I couldn't tell if it was clean and just stale or if it was dirty, either way it wasn't welcoming. The walls are paper thin, no sound insulation.I arrived when I was supposed to and there was noone at the reception or the staff hut. It wasn't a good first impression. I thankfully saw someone across the yard and he's fetched a staff member who could help me, it all took time and I was already tired and wet, just seemed disorganised.There were marks from the midges all over the lampshade and curtains

Liked: This is the only place I stay when visiting Arran. Been coming here a for a few years now. The location, views, rooms are excellent.

Spectacular Views

Liked: The location was absolutely stunning, literally couldn't fault anything. Just breathtaking
Disliked: The huts could do with a wee revamp but apart from that they were fine. We weren't in them much but compared to the rest of the facilities they need a little touch up
