Nice place that should have...

Liked: Breakfast was adequate. The house was very nice and spacious. Free parking.
Disliked: Could have been greeted better when we arrived. Took 3 tries to get us in room that had been cleaned and had a functioning toilet. Tub of dirty dishes in the self-serve kitchen even though we were the only guests at that time.

Superb!

Liked: The employee at the reception (Jess) was an amazing friendly person. During our whole trip we’ve not encountered anyone this friendly and helpful as she was. Our welcome was warm, kind and she was super enthusiastic! Our stay was superb, clean rooms, comfortable beds and an amazing venue. It was an older building which had so much charm and a great vibe. Breakfast was great as wel!

Wonderful stay and would recommend...

Liked: My stay at the Argus Hotel was wonderful! I came to Albany for the bar exam, which was very stressful, but the staff was incredibly kind and the rooms were very comfortable.

Liked: Everything was great from the location to the look and feel of the place to the staff. The lounge was very nice as was the outside premises.
