Beautiful room in mid town...

Liked: The 'unit' - room and bathroom were beautifully. Tastefully decorated in a modern original style. Very comfortable. Great bed, shower, bathroom etc. I could not fault the room.
Disliked: I found the check in process extremely hard. Having never stayed at a Sonder hotel before I did not have the app and as I am traveling on holiday my wifi and data were very patchy. Checking in without wifi is frankly impossible - don't even try. Customers need to know you must download all the information you need BEFORE you arrive at the hotel to avoid long delays and frustrations. Also our room was extremely noisy from street noise all night. Sound proofing was terrible.

Disliked: No Personal at all, only App to communicate via messages and sms, really complicated and anonymous.Very difficult communication Despite having written plenty of emails and messages asking for correct invoice (business trip) still waiting for it!!

New Home away from Home...

Liked: My new home away from home in Philadelphia. The space had everything you need and nothing you don’t. I loved being able to check in the building early and relax in the lounge while waiting for my room to unlock digitally at 4:00 PM. You can also store your bags after checkout and come back for them later, or pay extra for a late checkout. I was totally happy with the mostly unmanned setup. They provided earplugs, but I didn’t find the room noisy at all. The location was perfect, within walking distance of restaurants and a small grocery store with all the essentials.
Disliked: The only thing I’d suggest is a better-equipped kitchenette either in the rooms or in the lounge. Even just having some paper plates, utensils, and basics on hand would be nice. It's not essential, but it would make a good setup even better.

Liked: Great location, a clean and spacious room, although there is no reception, I felt quite safe there being a single female traveller
Disliked: Maybe the fact that the windows in the room cannot be open. There is a ventilation in the room and one can regulate the temperature, but I wanted fresh air in the room and couldn’t let it in, but maybe it’s an American thing, I don’t know
