The Arch Convention Hotel

Needs major improvements to facility.

Liked: Service was excellent, especially the cleaning ladies.
Disliked: Shower curtain was falling from walls (maintenance had to come). Vanity sink drain was leaking onto the floor every time the water was turned on (maintenance had to come). The ironing board would not stay upright (maintenance had to come). There was an extension cord strung across the room to power the light near the chair.

Bad

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: We drove 7 hours to get there, and when we arrived, they informed us that THEY had CANCELED our reservation due to over booking!!! THEY never let us know!! Found out there was a convention going on, and for what we were paying for 3 nights, they were charging that and more for 1 night!!! Didn't even try to apologize for doing this or finding us another hotel!!

Bad

Ok for the price.

Liked: Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Overall the hotel felt unkept and dirty, carpets were severely stained in the lobby/hallways. The stairs were in desperate need of vacuuming. People that had booked on third party sites were being canceled due to overbooking.

Great value and location

Liked: The staff was quite nice and friendly
Disliked: The property was a bit dated, but the location and the staff more than made up for it .

Disliked: Parking is a major issue. Parked in the parking lot recommended and woke up to my vehicle broken into. Along with six other vehicles. According to the locals and police, this happens every other night around there. Better security would be nice.

Disliked: Check in was almost 2 hours late. It was not cool in the lobby. The ice machine at least on 3rd floor was broken. No breakfast as included as advertised. No manager in place was told to contact booking.com. The amount they overbooked and the travelers with children that Were left without rooms was disgusting. No availability in the city due to some convention which was not informed of. No on site parking!!!!! Never again.
