The Arch Convention Hotel

Needs major improvements to facility.

Liked: Service was excellent, especially the cleaning ladies.
Disliked: Shower curtain was falling from walls (maintenance had to come). Vanity sink drain was leaking onto the floor every time the water was turned on (maintenance had to come). The ironing board would not stay upright (maintenance had to come). There was an extension cord strung across the room to power the light near the chair.

Liked: It wasn’t dirty, but that’s about it.
Disliked: The room we were given was hot as satan. The booking said there was a pool, once we got there the pool was under maintenance. Also, the WiFi did not work and was down. No breakfast like the booking said there was. We should have been refunded at least one night stay for having to sleep in a hot room, but after asking for a new room the 2nd night we were given it. Overall not a pleasant experience.

Quality Really gone downhill with...

Liked: Close location to Busch Stadium - walking distance.
Disliked: Pool was broken (repair?!) and restaurant that used to be on property is now closed. In addition, the air conditioning on the main floor was broken (on a 95* humid day!) and one of the elevators was out of order. Half the lights in our hotel room bathroom were not functional and a room booked for four people (two queen beds) only had two towels.

It was inexpensive

Disliked: It was very hot. It was very hot outside but it was June. The air conditioning couldn’t handle it. Parking was bad.

Need my money REFUNDED I

Liked: Nothing the air didn't work. It was a horrible experience
Disliked: MAJOR CLEANING

In all it was good.

Liked: Front staff was friendly, helpful. Our room and the hotel was clean. Close to attractions.
Disliked: Ice machines on floors 2 and 3 were disconnected. Pool was closed for repairs. Never saw any signs of a repair person. One elevator was out of service the entire three days we were there and before. Not enough parking near hotel. No continental breakfast. Free coffee was good.

I do not recommend this...

Liked: the bed was extremely comfortable.
Disliked: I requested a handicap room and did not receive. All handicap doors were out of order. The air conditioning was out of order. The elevator was out of order. Asked for a replacement coffee maker and did not receive it. The pool was out of order. This hotel offered no amenities. The ice machine was out of order.
