Catherine, Narragansett, RI, visiting Citizens House of Blues Boston

The employees at the restaurant and the reception desk were very polite, helpful, and respectful.

Liked: Very clean; liked the furniture and spaciousness of the room.
Disliked: The room was right above the kitchen, so it shook when they were doing laundry. Pillows were too puffy!

Front desk were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a free upgrade to a suite which was awesome and the location is great. We went to a show at the Paradise which is on Comm Ave and was only a 10 minute walk away. I will definitely stay there again and you can catch the Green Line Trains right across the street.

Liked: Great staff; very clean.

Great place to stay in...

Liked: I had a wonderful spacious corner suite with separate bedroom and living room and a view of Beacon street. The room exceeded my expectations. The bed was quite comfortable and I could work at the desk.
Disliked: Security deposit? $50 per night? Is this a normal practice? Not a problem, but such a luck of trust in your customers feels sad.

Good location and decently clean...

Liked: Its location. And the room was clean.
Disliked: The hotel was not accurately depicted in photos. The layout consisted of the best rooms having a view with a window onto the street. The balance of the rest of the rooms were on very long hallways of perhaps 50+rooms and their “windows” faced the dark interior hallway. Envision a motel layout inside a larger dark building. Because it was so dark I probably wouldn’t select it. The prices for the area of Brookline, however, are very good.Breakfast consists of many pastries and if you want any protein it consists of boiled eggs and yogurt. No eggs or bacon. All cold continental style offerings.
