Catherine, Narragansett, RI, visiting Citizens House of Blues Boston Mon, 17 March 2014

The employees at the restaurant and the reception desk were very polite, helpful, and respectful.

Liked: Very clean; liked the furniture and spaciousness of the room.
Disliked: The room was right above the kitchen, so it shook when they were doing laundry. Pillows were too puffy!

Front desk were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a free upgrade to a suite which was awesome and the location is great. We went to a show at the Paradise which is on Comm Ave and was only a 10 minute walk away. I will definitely stay there again and you can catch the Green Line Trains right across the street.

Liked: Great staff; very clean.

Exceptional

Liked: I have stayed at this Hotel every time I visit Boston. The location is perfect and walking distance to BU, where my daughter goes to college. It's clean, and the staff is nice.
Disliked: The breakfast is not consistance and they say they have Gluten free options, but there is cross contamination and it's not that great for Gluten Free people. There are good options (mostly pastries, bread and bagels for non-GF).

Very convenient location for anyone...

Liked: This is our 2nd time staying in The Arcadian for the Boston Marathon. Front desk was courteous, both instances there's been availability to check-in early. This hotel is a few steps away for Marathon spectators/family members; if participating in the Marathon the T-Green line is cross the street, very convenient. Our room was clean & the beds were very comfortable, slept great for next day's race. The free breakfast is well stock in the main floor and the staff is very accommodating.Overall, we had a great stay.
Disliked: The TV was a bit challenging to set up & stream from the phone, there was no microwave in the room which is helpful for anyone who brings food.

Poor

Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: I only asked for a quiet room, and from the hundreds of hotels that I stayed, the one that offered me was the most noisy one all day through. That specific room shouldn’t be offered to customers at all.

Comfortable experience, good location

Liked: Comfortable room, friendly staff. Very convenient next to a tram line into the main town. And close to a selection of restaurants and grocery stores. The beds were very comfy, and the lounge area is a lovely place to be
Disliked: The breakfast was ok, a selection a breads and pastries. Some yogurts and fruit juices. Would be nice for a few other fresh things too. The coffee/tea station is nice, however would like easy access to fresh milk and non-dairy milk throughout the day.
