The Arcade Hotel Amsterdam

Would go again.

Liked: The location is great and gaming in the room could be great.
Disliked: The check in process is made very difficult. With multiple messages across several platforms with missing links. The actual check in process was in French but couldn't be changed bij selecting another language. The bedsheets had holes in them. You could hear a lot around the room, slaming doors and people talking in de hallway.

I am mortified by the...

Disliked: I brought food from the bar and left it in my room,Whilst I was asleep I could hear a lot of rustling and movement in the room and around my bags but I was so tired that I left it. In the morning however I woke up to see that rats had come and eaten through my snacks. Immediately I was sick and as a result was forced to check out a day earlier and find another place I can stay . This has caused me extra cash loss and I am requesting full a refund. This has caused me stress and now I am currently looking for another place to stay whilst in Amsterdam. I now do not have enough funds to suppprt it so if I am not able to sort it out I will be homeless in Amsterdam. Please get back to me as matter of urgency

Liked: The property is very unique, gaming hotel. I liked the concept very much. The room was very clean, and cozy. The staff were very friendly and all of them speak English. They were very nice, let us leave our luggage’s early and make early check in and as well they let us leave our luggage after check out as well. They were super nice. The room was also very cozy and with nice atmosphere. The location is also close to the center it is 30 minutes by walk to Red Lights street, and there is train station near the hotel if you don’t want to walk. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
