The Antlers A Wyndham Hotel

I generally love Hilton Hotels but because of the standard I hold them to I have to give a disappointing 2 or less for the Antlers Hilton. Checking us in occurred much later than it should have - we were told we had a room upgrade because of our wait but the room was very small with a horrible view. We wanted breakfast while we waited and when we asked for a menu we were told there was a menu but also a buffet and we should just do that. Daily parking fee is always a turn-off. We waited until late afternoon but finally had to call and request maid service. We had to re-enter the WiFi code on a daily basis. And on the first day, hours after check-in when I wanted to purchase from the gift shop, I was told my name was not on the "hotel list" and I had to pay using cash or credit card. The next day, my name was on the list but the cashier had to check the list, call the desk to get authorization, then have me sign.

Liked: Location.
Disliked: Room size; WiFi connect; daily parking fee; gift shop purchase procedure; wait time to check in; did not offer a breakfast menu; maid service we had to request.

The location is great to enjoy the Pikes Peak Center and all the local shops and eating venues. We had a great "sisters" weekend!

Liked: Wonderful location; resolution of problems.
Disliked: No fridge.

Disliked: Small room, Bedding, bathroom tub drain would not stay open when showering, had to put a was cloth under it, This is our second stay and we decided its our last.

Disliked: The bathroom sink did not drain. Parts of the hotel showed age, especially the locker rooms next to the pool.
