Lovely breakfast, nice hotel, NOT...

Liked: The breakfast . The kitchen staff we lovely.
Disliked: The hotel is not suitable for children, the stairs are dangerously steep and slippery in the family rooms with no stair gates at the top, and my daughter fell into the breakfast bar (in the restaurant area) which was lined with metal so she needed she stitches on her forehead.

Disliked: I got scammed by this: https://www.theguardian.com/money/2023/oct/23/bookingcom-customers-targeted-by-scam-confirmation-emailsThe hotel, or someone impersonating them, is running the scam described above. Booking.com and the hotel are blaming each other and not being helpful, so they both get a bad review.

Liked: Reception was superb, Michaela was the best :-) We appreciated the early check in and the birthday cake for my daughter during breakfast, that was a nice surprise and really enhanced our stay!

Nice hotel, but I’m glad...

Liked: The breakfast was great. Lots of choice and it tasted good.
Disliked: The location. Wasn’t that impressed with Utrecht because it was too busy. I imagined it to be less commercial and more quaint.

Liked: The staff, communal areas and breakfast room were lovely
Disliked: The room a six triplet room, is not suitable for anyone who has any mobility problems or not agile, it has steep steps to the upstairs 2 rooms, the banister doesn’t reach the top, coming down in my opinion was dangerous as you had to do 2 steps holding onto glass panel, before you could reach the banister, upstairs bedrooms have 2 glass walls and only net curtain for privacy, no doors and only one light switch that operate both bedrooms
