Why Concert-goers love it

Its unbeatable central location means you're within easy walking distance or a quick ride to major concert venues across downtown Toronto. The vibe is laid-back yet stylish—perfect for music lovers who want to keep the rhythm going or crash in peace.

Food and Drink Options

Fuel up before the show or wind down after at Constantine, the hotel’s Mediterranean-inspired restaurant. Craving something quick? The Hot Black Coffee counter serves up fresh pastries and caffeine with personality. While there’s no 24/7 room service, the area is packed with late-night eats, and breakfast is easily available for that post-concert sleep-in.

Nightlife Options

What People Say

Guests rave about the unique retro-modern rooms, the friendly and helpful staff, and the hotel’s location near culture, nightlife, and public transit. Many reviewers love the added touches like vinyl record players and the ability to control their stay from the hotel app.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests note that while the rooms are stylish, they can be a bit dark, and a few mention limited on-site parking—though valet is available. Street noise may be a factor for light sleepers, so request a higher floor if you're sensitive.

The Bottom Line

With its artsy vibe, prime location, and music-loving details, The Anndore House is an ideal downtown base for concert-goers who value both style and substance.

It’s hard to find a good hotel in downtown Toronto - the right price with good amenities and fresh decor. This hotel fits the bill. We enjoyed the meals at the restaurant as well so we didn’t have to go anywhere else for good food. In February, this was a definite plus. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable in the room was a good size.

Liked: Funky decor; comfortable beds; very friendly staff.
Disliked: Heat goes off when you leave room and takes ages to warm up. Breakfast should be included.

Beautifully decorated rooms. Environment and...

Liked: Beautifully decorated hotel and gorgeous rooms. Gorgeous exposed pipes and clever decor. Food was pleasant and staff friendly
Disliked: Nothing the hotel can do, but so unpleasant and intimidating to see active drug use on entering the hotel and as the main view from the window. Saw dogs tied up and presumably owned by the users which was also upsetting. Reception staff seem quite inexperienced, although pleasant

Superb

Liked: Room was very spacious and well appointed - great use of the space and was also so nice to have 2 comfy chairs. Everyone on staff was very helpful. Hotel in a great location - still very close to downtown but with enough distance that there are more independent shops/cafes/restaurants.

Exceptional

Liked: Well-placed property, near Bloor-Yonge station (connecting lines 1 and 2). Lots of shops and restaurants are within a few blocks. There's a municipal parking building right in front of the hotel - after some parking time they limit the amount you have to pay for, be daytime or nighttime. Staff is nice and attentive. Cleanliness is very good.
