Great for the value.
Liked: Decent hotel at a pretty good location in the city, tons of stuff to do in the area. About 10 minutes walk to University of Toronto and 1 minute walk to Bloor St which is a popular shopping St here in Toronto. It's also close to the TTC subway station. As of the hotel itself, it's good but not the best. The wall is kinda thin and in the morning you could always hear the cleaning staff doing the work. AC works well, shower water was great. The design of the room is unique and there are also vinyls in each room. Staff was friendly enough and offered me early check-in around 11:30 AM. Overall speaking great experience staying here, price is competitive enough considering inflation has driven hotel prices crazy.
Disliked: The wall is thin and you can hear cleaning staff working in the morning.

Superb
Liked: Such a cool spot. Can?t wait to stay again. Went to bar but didn?t get to eat in resto. Looks great. Can?t wait! Also, the cafe was very nice and food was good.
Disliked: Sound travels from room to room and for sure you hear everything in hallway. But I could hear someone talking in their room down the hall.

A great find in this...
Liked: Great location near shops, cafes, the subway, Yorkville. All quite quirky and good natured. The room was great with everything I needed - spacious, comfy bed, sitting area, walk-in closet, fridge, large tv, even a vinyl record player and a couple of records. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast wasn't available but a coffee shop is attached to the hotel with the best coffee ever. Nice bar and lovely looking restaurant too which I didn't manage to eat at unfortunately.
Disliked: All was good. The hair dryer had a fault and they replaced it immediately. I requested more coat hangers and they brought them straight up. No problems at all.

Not bad, expected bit more...
Liked: Good location, walking distance to Eaton Centre, actually, even walk to CN Tower isn't that bad (probably like 30-35min). Close to Church and Yonge which are full of reasonably priced restaurants. Eat here, don't wait until you get to the core.
Disliked: Shower drain was clogged, also shower glass door is designed the way it causes puddles outside of shower.Corners in the bathroom weren't cleaned properly (you could see some mouldy/filthy buildup).Horribly loud AC even on low setting, luckily it was just spring so we could turn it off and open the window (Toronto is loud city, but still quieter at night that this AC unit).Nitpicking: water pressure could be better.
