Stay was great

Liked: The breakfast was exceptional staff were lovely shower was amazing .
Disliked: The lift was not working and rooms a bit dated

Liked: Very traditional hotel
Disliked: A little dated Lift not working when I stayed but staff found me a 1st floor room

Not a good experience

Liked: The location was great
Disliked: The lift was broken, and it was a long way to our room. The room stank of chlorine as it was above the swimming pool. The sliding bathroom door kept sticking. The restaurant was unable to provide lots of items on the menu and the food we did get wasn't great.

Disliked: Lift broke and was not fixed for several days Carpets in some areas looked dirty Jacuzzi was not working Plasters and tissue found in the jacuzzi

Good location

Liked: Didn’t have breakfast. Had dinner which was great. Food was delicious although portion was a bit small. Spa and swimming pool was a delight. Fresh and clean.
Disliked: Booking a time slot for spa and swimming pool. Booking a time slot for dinner. Room was very hot and humid even with window open all night.

Very poor

Disliked: Noise from spa generator kept me awake until midnight. then early morni g Teams meeti g i terupted by poor wifi

Well located but disappointing for...

Liked: Nice location. Car park and reasonable room.
Disliked: Costly for standard of accommodation. Not able to eat in restaurant as preference given to event / tribute night guests. On-line check in and limited staff contact made the stay feel impersonal.
