GOOD LOCATION + ACCOMMODATION

Liked: TOLD IN ADVANCE ABOUT WEDDING RECEPTION @ TIME OF BOOKING BUT WITH A SENSIBLE KERFEW SET BY HOTEL + WITH A ROOM AWAY FROM THE ACTIVITIES,THE WEDDING RECEPTION DIDN'T CAUSE ANY PROBLEMS.HOTEL VERY HANDY FOR THE ANGEL OF THE NORTH.

It was a pleasant stay...

Liked: Breakfast good , location very good for the motorway, the centre courtyard very nice , the staff were very polite and welcoming
Disliked: The place is ok but definitely needs upgrading , it is a tired place and in need of a bit of TLC

Nice place made even better...

Liked: We stayed in the stable block, room 28. a very nice room with view of the Angel. My father in law is 88 and they gave him a nice ground floor room at no extra charge. Breakfast was good as was evening meals., plenty of choice and all delicious. The thing that made this stay so nice was the staff, from the manager to the bar and restaurant staff, all very friendly, attentive and we had a good laugh with them!
