Great location, cool old building.

Liked: Great location, view out to the main road was awesome, large windows were great.
Disliked: Didn’t have hot water the last night/morning. Noisy from street noise, i sleep with white noise on so it was ok.

Disliked: No wifi in first room. Shower dreadful. Moved to another room which was better but not cleaned properly and the guy in reception was trying to sort it. He was deadly polite and apologetic which made the experience better. This is our third stay in 3 years but not the best experience but handled well by the guy on reception

Perfect location and lovely place...

Liked: The location is exceptional. My deluxe room was at the front of the hotel so the wi-fi worked well. (I believe it doesn't work so well at the back of the hotel). The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a problem with the shower and when I mentioned it at reception, it was immediately looked into and resolved. I was offered fresh towels and bottled water every day, and nothing seemed like too much trouble for the staff.
Disliked: There are only a couple of things I would change, which are small details. The tea/coffee were very small, glass mugs and I went out and purchased a normal sized earthenware mug to drink from during my four day stay. The radiator in the room didn't seem to be working, so I used a portable radiator that was provided - however, I still felt cold, at times, in the room.

One night stay

Liked: Lovely room with a large bathroom. Room was quiet especially as there is a nightclub just down the hall. Staff were helpful, efficient and posted my phone charger to me as i had left it in the room. Location is great being in the town centre, with lots of bars, pubs and places to eat. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.
Disliked: Had problems getting hot water to the shower but the huge bath with hand shower was fine.
