Hotel Description
The Angel Inn Hotel offers bedrooms with attached bathroom and a relaxed friendly bar and restaurant in the center of Pershore overlooking the central square. There is ample private parking (with CCTV) at the rear of the hotel and the private gardens extend to moorings on the banks of the River Avon. All bedrooms have excellent facilities daily housekeeping and some have views of the River Avon or the market square. The refurbished restaurant and bar offer set menus and fine dining with locally sourced produce prepared by our award-winning head chef. The Vale of Evesham and the Cotswolds are about 10 minutes' drive away. The M5 (junction 7) is only 5 mi away.

Very convenient and clean however...

Liked: Excellent location. Lots of character, nice staff. Very clean. Free car park.
Disliked: Position of Car park not OAP/Disabled friendly. Difficult to carry luggage up hill.

Electric shower operation tricky, no...

Liked: Great location. Great room. Great car park. Liked bar & restaurant area…only had breakfast there which was good.
Disliked: Fladbury room: The electric shower was poor, pressure not good. The sign by the sink warned to push hard on the ON button of shower to turn it on but my husband had to have a shower having to hold the ON button constantly; if you took your finger off, it stopped! This was the evening so we reported to Reception and told they would forward to the maintenance guy. On return from our meal out 4 hours later we checked with reception if it had been fixed. No because maintenance guy was not apparently available. This was a Saturday in June’s peak season. Reception member came up to bedroom and somehow the shower stayed working by pulling on the switch attached to ceiling. You couldn’t operate shower using the ON button on the shower unit. An obvious ongoing problem known to the hotel! Very frustrating.

Loved it a year ago...

Liked: Good location in a nice town. Good range of beers in a friendly, proper bar
Disliked: We stayed at the Angel a year ago and were delighted with everything about it. Sadly standards seem to have slipped. The service for dinner was poor and whilst the meal was fine it was not as good as we remember from last year. Breakfast was fine. There was a good range of cooked items but very limited cold items. And surely a hotel of this standard should not be serving filter coffee

Lovely hotel in great location,...

Liked: The breakfast looked good, was piping hot , and delicious. Copious amounts of coffee, left with full tummy and a smile on my face.
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike
