Liked: Lovely hotel, everything was exceptionally clean and it really felt a very comfortable place to stay. Bit of a home away from home and the breakfast was outstanding. 10 out of 10 and I'll definitely be coming back.

Liked: Pleasant room, clean although the bathroom was showing signs of needing an update. location was central which did however have its drawbacks: the youths congregated in the square below our bedroom window and kept us awake until the small hours. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the breakfast exceeded my expectation, even if I had to wait until 8.30 for the first serving. Freshly cooked and I didn’t even mind the tinned tomato. If you need a local restaurant go to Simply Wild on the other side of the square. Stunning food and worth the trip to Coleford just to go there.

Liked: The room with 2 seperate bed rooms
Disliked: The bathroom was a bit tired.

Good location and breakfast

Liked: Location close and walking distance to puzzlewood forest and clearwell caves. Location was perfect. Breakfast was nice as well. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Not many restaurants in the area and very loud at night. Some minor improvements, for breakfast could use fresh tomatoes instead of tin. Need a shelf in bathroom for toiletries and bag. Otherwise really good hotel.
