I was afraid there was...

Disliked: When I went to dry my hair the hairdryer went on fire .I felt very unsafe in the room incase anything else electrical would malfunction .We got our bags packed and left .The breakfast was of very poor quality ,had to ask the receptionist to make coffee as there was none left .

Liked: Communication regarding our stay was above and beyond!! Staff is so pleasant and che ked on us throughout our stay. The location is gorgeous with a lake view. We would absolutely stay here again!!
Disliked: The room definitely needs upgraded to provide more outlets and/or a charging port.

Liked: Clean rooms, beautiful views, friendly staff, and a conveniently located restaurant with great views.
Disliked: The hill up to the parking area is a little steep, but there are a few parking spots off to the side on the main road.

A great hotel!

Liked: The room was really clean, and had a beautiful view of the lake. The beds were really comfortable. The balcony was wonderful for watching the sunrise. The breakfast was enough to get you going - coffee, hostess cakes, fruit and juice boxes. The people running this facility (and their dog!) are wonderful and empathetic. We were allowed to check out late due to a personal emergency, and seeing how distraught I was, the manager even tried to get me to stay longer and just have a rest. In a world of "let's use AI for everything" a bit of human empathy really goes a long way.
Disliked: Really the only point I could think that was negative - no coffee makers in the room. I like drinking coffee after 4 and that doesn't seem to be an accepted practice around Seneca lake :D easily solved by getting cold brew and storing it in the fridge.

Liked: Great location overlooking Seneca Lake. Close to downtown Watkins Glen and wine trail.
Disliked: The room was too dark. It can use a couple more lamps.

Not worth the amount charged.

Disliked: Blankets were too small and I fought all night with my husband to cover myself. Carpet was ripped although mended. Balcony is shared no privacy. Woman checking us in was relatively new to area and did not have sufficient dining knowledge.
