Liked: Dinner was very good, check In and out was quick. Somewhere to walk the dogs opposite. Staff were friendly and Trevor was very helpful with requests when I phoned beforehand.
Disliked: Room and ensuite were extremely small and not suitable. Water pressure was low. Breakfast had good choices but there was eggshell in the egg.

Good traditional Inn in the...

Liked: Excellent quality breakfast. Location really excellent too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lower priced rooms good value for money. Dinner menu and food very nice. Inside the Inn there is a nice traditional feel with some panelled rooms. Parking is fine. Nice garden for drinks or eating.
Disliked: The cheaper rooms are quite small, but are value for money with just the basic facilities. A little short staffed meant around dinner they were trying to serve the bar customers, the garden customers, and serving drinks to those at dinner along with serving the meals as well! And also manning the front desk! They did their best and managed but were a little stretched at times. Our drink order was completely forgotten but we were given them on the house when we got them in the end.

Liked: The only positive about this hotel was the friendliness of the staff.
Disliked: We were allocated a tiny, old, worn, dirty, hot ‘ room ‘ on the topfloor of some old barn. Dirty old carpet, tiny stairs to get up there. I felt like they stuck us in some kind of youth hostel. Paid online 118 euro for this ? We left ( they refused to refund us ) and stayed in a beautiful hotel 2 miles down the road for the same price, what a difference. Glad we left, they need to do some serious modernization. Also, nothing in the area, you need a car to go to the towns nearby.
