One of the best B&B...

Liked: Mya were extremely helpful when I arrived and needed to accommodate my luggage in the house, before the check-in time.The bedroom was super comfortable: AC and heat systems available, the bed was comfortable and the linens fresh and clean. The bathroom was spacious and also very clean!Also, the breakfast was very complete, with a variety of foods (eggs, fruits, pastries, juice, etc).

I think I arrived with...

Liked: The room, bathroom, and dining area were clean. The staff was nice and helpful although not present most of my time there. There were plenty of towels and pillows and the bed was very comfortable. Loved that it’s close to many restaurants on Laurier and lovely Strathcona Park.
Disliked: When I booked on bookings.com I hadn’t noticed that the bathroom was shared. Since I was in room 5, it was actually on another floor, so I think it’s something that should be made clearer as my expectations were very different.

Superb

Liked: Beautifully renovated building with a special appreciation of historic design.
Disliked: Overall, a nice experience, just a few details: the air conditioning is a single device for all rooms. You cannot adjust it inside your room. Windows cannot be opened instead since the sliding parts got painted.

Very good deal for central...

Liked: Breakfast was a wide selection of quality items. Free parking on site. Nice old house with 5 or 6 rooms in the embassy district. Very quiet.
Disliked: Skylight only had a small blind to reduce the light coming in but I didn't plan on sleeping in anyway.

Very good

Liked: The location is fairly close to parliament hill. Breakfast was nice
Disliked: The top floors were not air conditioned properly for our stay and it was in the middle of heat wave. It got cooler during night but was bit uncomfortable

Liked: The location, atmosphere and facilities were wonderful.
Disliked: Breakfast was fine, would have liked more options but it's standard for the BnB experience.
