The Alloy King of Prussia - a DoubleTree by Hilton

Couldn't ask for better service, from a warm cookie at check-in to free lemonade in the lobby. Room was clean, upscale, well maintained and exceeded my expectations at a surprisingly affordable rate. Would stay there again without thinking twice!

The stay had some challenges,...

Liked: The hotel is conveniently located near the mall, which made dining and shopping very easy and accessible.
Disliked: - The elevators are always crowded, and there are only two available for all guests. This often results in long lines, especially during peak hours.- The rooms are extremely far from the elevators.- My reservation included breakfast, I was surprised upon arrival to find that instead of full access, a room credit was added — which may not be enough to cover the actual cost of breakfast.- The corner suite did not have air conditioning in the living room area, which made that space quite uncomfortable during warmer hours.- Parking is limited and located a bit far from the main entrance, which can be inconvenient, especially if you have luggage.

Liked: Good location. Convenient self parking. Safe environment.
Disliked: It took a good 5 minutes to warm the water from the shower. Breakfast was not hot. Engineering was called to fix the toilet flush.

Liked: The receptionists were kind and helpful, the breakfast was good. The room was very big for one person.
Disliked: Air conditioning was loud and I was not able to turn it off, because the wall controller did not work. But the next day a technical staff came and fix the problem.There was a smell coming from the drain in the bathroom, so I closed the bathroom door.

Liked: Location., parking, breakfast, helpful staff. Quiet rooms. Did not hear neighbors or outside.
Disliked: The bathroom door was difficult to use and very noisy.

Great looks and staff, needs...

Liked: Beautiful lobby, friendly staff, comfortable bed.
Disliked: The corner suite we had only had an AC unit in the bedroom. The fan that was meant to circulate air to the rest of the suite was ineffective and left the living area and bathroom entirely too hot. Our friends staying on the pullout couch did not have a comfortable sleep.
