Liked: Very comfortable room & bed

If you need a place...

Liked: The bed was comfortable. The desk staff person in the morning was very nice, and directed us to a cafe around the block to get coffee (which is not available at the hotel). Another hotel where if you need a place to sleep, and can skip the shower and drive straight home, it's fine. But for the price, it should be way nicer
Disliked: The hotel is ready for a major makeover. The room didn't feel clean, and the shower looked pretty gross - black (mold) caulking around what looked like a slab of granite placed in the middle of the shower for some reason. The elevator had a filthy mat on the floor with the day of the week (Monday) on it, which was replaced by filthy Tuesday the next morning. We arrived late (11:30pm) to check in, and the person who checked us in was especially non-communicative, as we had clearly woken them up. Not mean or disrespectful outright, but gave the impression that we were an inconvenience. Another place to put on the "no" list.

I enjoyed my stay and...

Liked: My room was very comfortable and had a nice view, and I loved the shower. Great location as well. Staff was friendly and helped me with directions to the closest subway in the morning.
Disliked: If there was a breakfast, I was not told about it.

Poor

Liked: It was clean afterall, nice stuff & helpful as they let us keep our luggage for sometime after we checked out
Disliked: Horrible location!!!!!! Although well-connected to subway but it was sooooo unsafe to walk around the area at night

Good

Liked: Honesty of housekeeping staff. Left an item in the safe but thankfully was returned to us after checkout. Able to store luggage for a few hours after checkout at no charge. Reception organized taxi for us to go to JFK.
Disliked: Traffic noisy. No eating facilities.
