Nice size room but cleanliness...

Liked: The location was great and the room was a good size
Disliked: We had an issue the first night with a dirty tea kettle that impacted our perception of the property. Upon noticing the dirty kettle we phoned the front desk requesting a replacement. Half an hour later we called back and were told he had to contact manager. An hour later my husband went to the front desk and was told he was trying to reach his manager. We went to bed and turned on the do not disturb. Later after having dozed off we had knocking on our door and then a phone call! The next morning got a fresh kettle from the front desk. That day we requested the room be cleaned. When we came back we didn’t think housekeeping had been in because the bed was still mussed. They had come because we had “fresh towels” see the picture, I think they got towel from the rag bin.

Liked: Location mainly. Lower East side has lots of good cafes and restaurants and a good vibe. Easy walk to subway stations for a number of lines. Very easy to get everywhere
Disliked: 2 queen beds allocated for 2 adults and a teenager. We pushed them together so there was a bit more room but one of us slept over the join. Moving the bed revealed a lot of dust, tissues, sweet wrappers - so under beds not regularly cleaned.

Pleasant enough, would use again.

Liked: Location was great with various subway stations close by.
Disliked: We booked a room for four people, and we're given two 3/4 size beds, not full doubles. We managed for 5 nights, but any longer I think would have needed bigger beds.

Good value for money

Liked: It was very well located and was value for money. The beds were comfortable and the room had a balcony which was nice. The staff were courteous and moved us to a 6th floor room on request.
Disliked: Cant think of anything major except that the lobby decor didn't quite align with my sensibilities!
