It was great value and we were able to park at the hotel which was great. It had everything we needed for the night. Had the air conditioner not been a very old one and click and bang all night, it would have been a great night!
Liked: The price was great.
Disliked: The air conditioner was loud and banged - it kept us up most of the night.

What an amazing hotel. Comes with cutlery and plated plus a near full kitchen. Flat screen TV's so you can plug a computer or gaming console in, and openable windows. Such a perfect little place.
Liked: The amazing staff and comfy beds.
Disliked: None.

This wasn't a 5 star luxury hotel, but I didn't expect it to be. The woman who was running the place was really friendly and helpful. The room was small, but besides a bed and a bathroom also included a stove top, a microwave, a fridge, a kitchen sink, a desk, a TV, a couch, and a window AC. What else could you want? In the mornings there was a pile of complimentary newspapers by the elevator. Parking was $5 a day, but once there we were able to leave the car and just walk everywhere. The area felt safe enough - though I was walking everywhere with my husband - if I was alone, I may have been a little wary late at night. I was pleasantly surprised and would stay here again.
Liked: Friendly staff, free wifi, mini-kitchen.

Good location and value, but...
Liked: Our go to hotel when we need to stay in downtown Toronto. Easy walk (20-30 minutes) to all downtown Toronto theaters, restaurants and office towers. Compact but comfortable room with queen and single bed and complete kitchenette (fridge, stove, microwave, pots and pans, dishes and utencils). Large outdoor parking lot, $20 a day. Overall an amazing value for downtown Toronto hotel.
Disliked: Portion of hotel used by city as shelter, so some less fortunate souls enjoying fresh air around entrance, but all were polite and respectful. Some late night noise, sirens and shouting, typical for big city. Biggest problem for us was extremely weak wifi signal. Not even strong enough to open email messages, let alone do any streaming.

I enjoyed my stay
Liked: The location was good. Close to many stores, restaurants, transit. The location after midnight is a little uncomfortable but that is because as a women I was travelling solo. They do have security. The room was clean and a great size. There was a kitchenette which is great for longer stays. I liked how there was laundry on my floor and a I think it was a good price $4 total. I liked the staff they were really friendly. While I was waiting for a room they held onto my bags so I could walk around without them.
Disliked: The first room I stayed in didn't have those bar of soaps, shampoo/conditioner. The second room I stay in had those. My rooms faced the parking lot so I could hear people talk if they are talking too loud.

The location in th city...
Liked: Staff were friendly and room was clean and comfortable
Disliked: There were people hanging around the entrance of the building who were questionable. A guy approached me and asked if I would deposit money in his bank account and he would give me cash...

Disappointing
Liked: The receptionist wasnt rude. She checked me in, as per facility's protocols. I managed to get a friendly nod towards the end of the checkin process. The layout and arrangement of furniture in the room was perfect for me to comfortably get some work done.
Disliked: Starting from the entrance-1. Loiterers, stood by the entance of the building, chain smoking and panhandling.2. The front entrance door has a manual lock system which requires key entry only. The problem is the key gets stuck in the keyhole which requires a bit of back and forth turning until it unlocks the door. 3. The building has 6 floors. Waiting time for the elevator could be up to 10 mins 4. As with the entrance door, the door to the room has to be accessed by key. The room1. The room appeared to be in good condition at just a glance. A closer look will reveal what the condition really is. Carpet is penetrated with build ups. 2. The bed was neatly made and it was very inviting to get on. However, after about 30 min or so, my skin starts itching . 3. The baseboard heater in the room is not efficient to generate enough heat to heat the entire room. Its thinly distributed, resulting to lower temperature in the room. Bathroom1. Toilet paper holder is very fragile. It falls off, and must be reinserted in position after use2. The hot and cold water asjustment does not function. The water comes out boiling hot, making it impossible to fully clense. There are many other things which affects my level of comfort at this facility, but i will leave my comments to the major issue outlined above
