This wasn't a 5 star luxury hotel, but I didn't expect it to be. The woman who was running the place was really friendly and helpful. The room was small, but besides a bed and a bathroom also included a stove top, a microwave, a fridge, a kitchen sink, a desk, a TV, a couch, and a window AC. What else could you want? In the mornings there was a pile of complimentary newspapers by the elevator. Parking was $5 a day, but once there we were able to leave the car and just walk everywhere. The area felt safe enough - though I was walking everywhere with my husband - if I was alone, I may have been a little wary late at night. I was pleasantly surprised and would stay here again.
Liked: Friendly staff, free wifi, mini-kitchen.

Liked: Nice staff
Disliked: Weird location, beds were rock hard. Felt a little ghetto. Also weird that it was a single bed and a double bed. Elevators took forever, got woken up early by the school across the way

Good for one night
Liked: Quiet, room itself felt comfortable to study in for the price paid. Served its purpose for me.
Disliked: Cleanliness of amenities, my tea kettle was overused on the stove and needed a deep clean. Felt gross drinking water from it. Can tell there was a few hair on bathroom floor.

Downtown Toronto at a great...
Liked: Location next to a big park and close to Kensington Market in the heart off downtown Toronto. Friendly and accomodating staff. Easy check-in and check-out.
Disliked: Nothing comes to mind.
