Liked: The room was spacious and comfortable. The location is great and there’s a lovely charm about the place.The parking is great including electric car chargers.The food is good too.
Disliked: The TV didn’t work throughout our stay and despite raising that a couple of times it wasn’t sorted.Some of the staff were lovely but there was clearly some issues / shortages of staff and that impacted on the standard of care.Some of the communal areas are tired and need attention.

A really lovely location

Liked: The location was great. The hotel was lovely and clean and had a really nice conservatory area and outside seating area. On our first night they were very short staffed but Alfie was exceptional and made our stay great as he was so helpful despite being rushed off his feet. Without Alfie things would have been a lot less satisfactory.
Disliked: The first night was so short staffed that the wait for food was much too long but this improved on the second night. The older man on duty for our stay, who may be the manager, was not good at customer service and was very unfriendly and not at all courteous to his customers. He needs to take notes from Alfie who was the opposite.

Liked: Great location. Pretty opposite the river. Friendly staff and helpful. Nice bar. Yummy breakfast options. Nice balcony on the room to ate outside. Parking underneath easy.

Disliked: Soundproofing of the ceiling is not ideal as in any older buildings in UK, thus, you will hear your neighbour walking upstairs.
