Liked: Great Indian/Nepalese restaurant nearby.
Disliked: Our room was not serviced at all staying 3 nights. The bed was old and noisy. The hotel really needs to be renovated. Old furniture, curtains etc.

Perfect place to stay

Liked: Clean, quiet and great outdoor space

The cleanliness of the bathroom...

Liked: Location.Beds were comfortable. When we complained about the room not being cleaned the response was outstanding. A person was at our room in 5 minutes and actioned our complaints.
Disliked: The room was not cleaned. We found urine on the toilet seat and hairs in the beds indicting the sheets and pillow cases had not been changed. The room had no air conditioning and the portable fans that were in the room were very loud. Not a problem in winter but we were there in summer.

Such a big let down…

Liked: The location was great and the bed was comfortable enough
Disliked: We are from Australia here for a month camping around the west coast. We thought we would treat ourselves to two nights to shower and rest up! When we got there it looked nice from the front, old but nice. It’s no contact check in which was easy enough but doesn’t give the same experience :(When I walked in I was really upset. The walls were THIN, everything was so old and dusty. We had lights that were blown out, the aircon didn’t work and was so loud. There’s lights all around the building and they have curtains that barely cover the window!! Light beaming in alllllll night. We even found someone’s old contact lens on the floor. The shower was old and yucky. We ended up wishing we just stayed in our van. Mind you it cost around $500USD for two nights ($800 AUD!)just not good enough. Definitely won’t ever be coming back which I was hoping it wasn’t going to be this way especially because I HATE leaving bad reviews.

Location and cleanliness 10/10!

Liked: Good value for money. Excellent location — close to shops and cafés, yet not on the main road but among pine trees, so it was quiet to sleep. This is not a 5-star hotel, so don’t expect new furniture, but what mattered was that it was truly clean. Bed linens and towels were spotless and felt like new. The bathroom and toilet were also clean. No bedbugs or insects were noticed. Just 5 minutes from Whole Foods, McDonald’s, Chipotle, restaurants, and cafés, and the beach is only about a 10-minute walk away.
Disliked: I would recommend cleaning the air conditioner filters, as they are quite dusty. However, I didn’t use it, so this is basically my only comment.
