Okay

Liked: The gluten-free buffet and the option to order from the menu.
Disliked: Shower curtain in bathroom smelt awful. It was horribly embarrassing to disguise the smell in the bathroom coming from the shower curtain. Also, I had to request a bottle of water (there was not one complimentary) and found a lot of dust in the room (the bedding) and at the bottom of the glass. I cannot comment on any other aspect of my stay. I was in the room for one night, I did not use any of the facilities and managed to have a good sleep so that is all which I recall displeasing to my personal standard of care (generally speaking).

Hotel average but good breakfast

Liked: Beds quite comfortable but far too hot to sleep under the covers. Breakfast very good. Nice choices of continental, full English and extra menu.
Disliked: Unbearably hot in the check in area and hotel room. Air con not working. Fan useless. Room okay but a bit tatty considering the price. 2 sachets of milk is a bit poor. TV not really watchable because of position. I do think the rooms are overpriced.

Fab but also disappointing

Liked: Great location, fabulous reception area and the one member of staff I spoke to was friendly enough. My room was on the 6th floor, so nice and quiet. The bed was super comfy, with nice toiletiries and quality tea and coffee.
Disliked: Room 604!

Could be great but needs...

Liked: Location of hotel was great and extremely central - everything within walking distance
Disliked: the room was basic - carpet was worn and plug sockets were in odd places. Feels like the room was an afterthought and the details of the room could have been better. Reception was having issues with check in when arrived and receptionist did not seem to care - on their phones the entire time.

Enjoyable stay at a competitive...

Liked: Great location and great value for money - enjoyed the bar and the breakfast. Nice relaxed atmosphere.
Disliked: Oddly no usb points in rooms. Had to use the TV to charge my phone as didn’t bring a plug . Room was a teeny bit tired, but conscious this is being picky for such a good rate.
