Hotel Description
Located on the west coast of Scotland surrounded by the scenic countryside The Airds Hotel and Restaurant is a converted ferry inn with free WiFi access and free on-site parking. The property is a 7-minute drive from Castle Stalker and 19 miles from the coastal town of Oban with its ferry connections to many of the west coast islands. Airds is the only hotel in Scotland to have been awarded The Good Hotel Guide Cesar award 2020. Each room is individually decorated and has an private bathroom. Each room features a TV radio with iPod dock and a smart TV while bathrooms have a shower and/or bath. Front facing rooms benefit from the loch view. At The Airds Hotel and Restaurant there is a garden and a terrace both making the most of the loch view while other facilities offered at the property include lounges with log fires and a cozy bar. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings including cycling and hiking and there are plenty of castles and other visitor attractions to be visited nearby. Oban Ferry Terminal is a 36-minute drive away and Ben Nevis is 29.5 miles away. Oban Golf Club is also 40 minutes' journey by car. Glencoe with its many hiking and mountain bike trails is 35 minutes by car.

Excellent stay, would happily book...

Liked: Staff friendly and helpful, rooms were fresh in terms of decor and very clean, excellent breakfast in the morning, parking on site, locality for boat over to Lismore walkable/cycleable, beautiful setting overall with excellent outward views from both the hotel and gardens out front, value for money.

Gorgeous location, beautiful boutique hotel...

Liked: Lovely rooms. Really accommodating to having our beloved dog with us. Nothing was too much trouble.
Disliked: Dinner was lovely but maybe on the higher end price wise.

Peaceful Place were I came...

Liked: Perfect location. Calm and ressourcing. Food and breakfast were very tasty and of excellent quality.
Disliked: Room under the roof was hot as not climatised. Bathroom a bit old fashioned but ok.
