A gem of a hotel...

Liked: Great easy free car park in a busy market town. Pleasant staff and a great room.
Disliked: Ran out of my favourite breakfast food, fresh fruit as we were down at 9:30am (10am cut off on Sundays) and were told there was no more available to prepare. I'm sure at the end of the shift the chef chose the answer carefully. I didn't question it, and went on to enjoy a great cooked breakfast. All fine. Also very nice to get a welcome hand written note in the room from housekeeping. A kind gesture.

Liked: Lovely rooms , very clean and comfortable. TV and radio, bottled water, nice seating area. Very welcoming
Disliked: Two small things, a missing hairdryer and my partner would have like an extra pillow - usually find one in the wardrobe but by the time we realised it was gone 11pm. Didn’t spoil our stay

Excellent! Staff friendly nothing too...

Liked: We have stayed here on numerous occasions. Easy to park with a trailer, as we had a track day at Cadwell race circuit. Staff and facilities excellent, will accommodate requests asked: 10/10 from us!!
Disliked: Nothing, all great

Better than expected

Liked: The staff were helpful and friendly. Hot chocolate on the room tea tray. Spacious wardrobe. Designated place for our suitcase in the room.
Disliked: Road noise and 'stuck' window which was open so we couldn't shut the noise out.

Great old building serving brilliant...

Liked: Particularly good quality food - both evening meals and breakfast. The hotel is well presented with nice decor throughout. The location is great too.
Disliked: The rooms are a little warm and stuffy when it is hot outside. This is common for older buildings in the UK, however the room fan was a bit old an could do with a refresh.
