Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Liked: Firstly, the location was great. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the Elemis cosmetics provided in the room. The staff were also exceptionally pleasant and accommodating, which made my time there even more enjoyable. Plus, after coming from a chilly hotel, it was a relief to find this one pleasantly warm.
Disliked: The room was quite tiny, which made it feel a bit cramped. Also, I was frequently disturbed by sounds from the hallway, particularly people walking past.

Go for the staff and...

Liked: The staff were exceptional. Ida at the Front Desk in particular went above and beyond to ensure that we had a room that was accommodating for my friend who has some mobility issues. Edwin in the bar was jovial and helpful. At each turn, the staff was there to help and make us feel welcome. The location was great, as were the little shops and restaurants around the corner (which the staff recommended).
Disliked: The carpets were a bit stained in the hallways and there are no fitness facilities, but for our purposes it was really lovely. There is a beautiful courtyard which we didn't use because of the weather, but nothing to do about that.

Disappointing premesis but good location....

Liked: The location. Ability to borrow umbrellas. Courtesy mini bar. Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: It was generally quite sad from a decoration point of view. Fourth floor room with no lift and uneven stairs wasn’t ideal to carry luggage. Noise ++ from corridor. Minuscule shower room. Smell of drain/ damp in communal hall when we arrived. Despite continental breakfast being included, we decided to eat elsewhere. It always telling when hotel staff don’t ask if you’ve enjoyed your stay at checkout…
