The Academy Hotel Colorado Springs

Excellent facility, careful to keep everything safe.

It was a fun stay

Liked: It was beautiful and had very sweet staff who were very helpful
Disliked: The Internet was awful which kind of sucked but i assume nothing they can control. My mom also says a hot tub was advertised but we didn’t see one. Everything else was amazing!

Worth every penny spent.

Liked: Service and cleaning was amazing. Beds were super soft.
Disliked: Freezer didnt work in room and internet was to slow to stream, but absolutely everything else was amazing. To a point we couldn't complain about internet or Freezer. OH and gym was way to small. Like a closet.

Disappointing

Liked: The breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: The maids need to clean better and pay closer attention to underneath the bed. And maintenance needs to be more on top of fixing things. And the appliances need to be checked better. There was a soda can under the bed, a long head height scratch on the wall, and the coffee pots didn't work.

Never judge a book by...

Liked: They always say never judge a book by its cover. As we pulled into the parking, we were hoping that it was not like our stay in Florida, let’s just say what they describe was not what we encounter, but as I walked in the Academy hotel to check in, my mouth was wide open, beautiful ambiance, the lobby was so cozy and comfortable, it outshined its 4 stars, rooms clean and comfortable, staff friendly and food was amazing, especially the bar tender, I have never seen a bartender know how to balance a perfect drink, other then in New York. Again the appearance and ambiance, cannot get enough of. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend to anyone if you are staying at Colorado Springs, we are hoping to make another trip but to aspen wish you have a hotel out there we will definitely book without a thought. Thank you we loved it!
