Very good

Liked: The Abernathy is located perfectly with access to the downtown Clemson and the campus. It was very clean and the room was very large. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: I wish breakfast and especially coffee had been included with our stay. I'm sure these details were included in the terms listed when I made the reservation. However, this wouldn't prevent me from recommending the hotel and was only a minor inconvenience.

Liked: Room was spacious, bathroom was nice. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: No blackout curtains, so as soon as the sun rose it was nearly impossible to sleep! Also, the sole elevator they had was being worked on at the time of checkout, so we had to call the front desk to help us get our suitcases downstairs from the 4th floor! Having said that, they were very helpful with this. Thank God, because one of our suitcases was quite heavy, but the management should have scheduled the repair for a different time other than checkout! Don't know what they would have done if there was a handicapped person in a wheelchair! Carried the person down 3 flights of stairs?!?!
