Really very good, the food...

Liked: Very good service and helpful reception. The room was good with a good size bathroom. The restaurant was excellent our main evening meal was really great. The hotel is right in the middle of Malvern and ideally positioned for the theatre.
Disliked: The room we stayed in (431) had a frosted window in the bathroom and although it only looked out on to an open space, for guests peace of mind it should have a simple blind fitted. The only other minor point is that for breakfast there were 3 waiters/waitresses and never more than half a dozen people eating and yet you had to self service for tea and toast. When the breakfast room is not busy this should be served to you.

A Real Gem

Liked: The hotel itself is very comfortable and excellent value (same price as the dive I stayed in in London but light years ahead in comfort and quietness. The whole town is a gem and the hotel is perfectly located so you can enjoy the sights.
Disliked: That I only had time to stay one night.

A good hitel in a...

Liked: Location is excellent close to town facilities and Malvern Hills. The Priory, the Theatre, local pubs, cafes, shops and restaurants are within 5 minutes walk. There are plenty to chose from. The hotel rooms are comfortable, clean with enough space to relax particularly if you have been out on the hills. Food was very good service and staff good and friendly.
Disliked: One minor issue the bar is quite small and gets very busy when the hotel hosts functions. As many rooms are accessed through the bar it becomes difficult but not impossible to get through.
