Liked: Great location. Beautiful views. The staff was amazing.
Disliked: Where do I start.? From not getting into my room for almost 45 minutes late, to having no hot water in the shower both days , mold around the fan in the shower, the facility is so rundown. There’s literally dry rot walls inside one of the doors near the pool. It looks like it hasn’t been painted in a number of years. It seems like these hotels are all worried about putting in the newest flatscreen TVs and don’t worry about that. The small refrigerator didn’t keep my food cold. The bed mattress was so saggy and needs to be replaced. Pool area nowhere to sit in the shade. In either one of the pools. People were moving chairs around depending on where they could get under a tree. Second day the pool opens at nine and they don’t have towels ready for the pool. I didn’t have a problem, but heard a couple other people talk that the restaurant was out of numerous food items. It’s a holiday week and you’re not prepared. If it wasn’t for the staff, it would’ve been a complete nightmare. It seems like most of the staff are apologizing for all the different problems. But they’re all still smiling and helpful and accommodating. I did a little research the hotel is owned by a company called benchmark, pyramid, luxury, and lifestyle. They have numerous numerous hotels. About time they did some upgrades considering me amount of money they charge for rooms.Also, carpet was dirty right outside of the room. And supposedly the room was cleaned but I found a small toy in one of the rails of the closet.

Beautiful Place, But Confusing Check-In...

Liked: The place is beautiful, especially when the weather is nice. I was lucky to have amazing days, and most people were very friendly. The views are among the best on the lake. I’ve been to Wisconsin many times, and this is one of the most beautiful areas.
Disliked: However, I had a frustrating experience at check-in. I had asked in advance if I could arrive early to use the facilities, and was told yes. So my partner and I arrived at 1 PM, three hours before check-in time. But when I spoke to the receptionist, she wasn’t very friendly and told me I might not be able to get back in unless I asked another guest to share their key — which felt very uncomfortable and inappropriate. So we waited in the hot lobby for hours.Later, I realized I could have used the facilities after all, but didn’t know the layout and trusted the receptionist’s word. My advice: if you arrive early, ask for a map or a quick explanation, because some areas are accessible and worth enjoying before check-in.

Great quiet location/ resort need...

Liked: The adult pool
Disliked: The room was small, courtyard view, that was a blocked view.Grounds weeds, lots of cobwebs on outdoor chairs, rails.Resort needs to be updated and the grounds beautified and with grass not weeds.Very pricey through 3rd party.
