The Abbey Hotel & Apartments is consisted of of a Tudor house built around 1530 and a medieval merchant's house built around 1350. Free on-site parking is available and Bury St Edmunds town center is just over a mile away. Free Wi-Fi is provided in each room at The Abbey Hotel & Apartments as well as an private bathroom and a king-size bed. A TV and tea/coffee making facilities are also provided. A full English breakfast including local smoked back bacon and sausages is made cooked to order with a buffet of lighter options also available. Laundry facilities are also available. St Edmundsbury Cathedral and the Theater Royal are both within a 10-minute walk of the hotel. Live music can be enjoyed at the Apex Venue which is a 5-minute drive away. Exceptional boutique hotel.

Liked: Everything was great, but Natasha was exceptional, friendly, helpful and professional.
Disliked: The turn into the property off the road is a bit sharp and can be tricky to navigate.

Best of Bury St Edmunds

Liked: We travel a lot and this is one of the most comfortable places we have stayed. Our little cottage was bright and inviting. Beautiful loft bedroom. Well appointed and stocked. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable staff. Nice breakfast included. Great on site parking. We’d recommend to anyone
