Lovely bed & breakfast, but...

Liked: Character property not too far from the centre of Bury St Edmunds. Freshly cooked breakfast with softly scrambled eggs…….. excellent
Disliked: Looking a bit tired and scruffy around the edges. A lot of road noise from cars outside, which woke us up several times.We felt I t was a bit overpriced compared to other hotels in the area, however the staff were lovely.

Liked: Very friendly, car parking out the back (limited spaces) I managed to park. Comfortable bed, with a lovely shower. Very clean throughout.Amazing Breakfast, freshly cooked.
Disliked: Although it wasn’t hot in the room in May, I would be concerned it could get warm in the summer months.

Abbey Hotel

Liked: The room was very comfortable and quiet. The staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Access to the car park is a little tight, although we were informed of this beforehand.Good situation for walking into Bury and to the Abbey.Very pleasant stay.

Disliked: Flight to the room, but assistance was readily available
