The 1852 Hotel - Smartphone Check-in

This hotel is trendy, clean and in an excellent location; staff are friendly and would highly recommend it. Probably suits the younger generation best. Very pleasant experience and a great price.

Liked: All check in, room and bar food/drink was smooth and very good. Straight accross from the Empire music venue and easy on street parking.
Disliked: No lift after a few drinks to top floor but not really a problem.

Disliked: Quite a bit of street noise but didn't disturb sleep

Liked: Everything was good, check in was assisted as we couldn't get checked in but all was done over the phone in the lobby with the assistance of a lovely male employee sorry couldn't remember his name, a few fly's in the room other than that all was good

Liked: Excellent location, lots of places for food available nearby. Check-in was quick and easy. Room was much better and bigger than expected, all very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable!
Disliked: No lift available and room was on 3rd floor - I was aware there were only stairs, but if you have a lotion luggage or cannot manage stairs, would not be an appropriate place to stay.

Overall is fine.

Liked: The location is superb. Self check in is brilliant.
Disliked: The noise from other rooms is unbearable. Other guests were talking loudly the entire night. The property must put a sign to inform guests not to talk after midnight, to respect other guests so they can sleep better.
