Good location, good room, shame...

Liked: Clean and tidy
Disliked: Very thin walls….got no sleep due to noisy neighbours!

Liked: The establishment seemed understaffed and there was no food available. Despite the place being under occupied, our room was next to the room where the kegs for the pub etc were kept so there were a lot of loud bangs. Room was comfortable enough. Poor TV options. Overall if id paid £70 I'd have been happier. £100 was too pricey.

Liked: Our stay in 1645 Inn was the best in our whole Scottland trip in April :) the owners are wonderfully nice people, the food in the Pub and the breakfast in the bistro are delicious. It was such a shame that we only stayed one night! A big thank you for such a warm welcome and the talks and spontaneous whiskey tastings in the bar

Liked: Food was very good, we had a lovely breakfast and the man serving was very efficient and friendly.
Disliked: Very small room and room was quite dusty and had a damp smell in it. I woke up very wheezy in the middle of the night and put the bedside light on, this was when I noticed the cobwebs and dust on the lights and corner of the room. There was a very loud bathroom fan aswell, it made a clunking noise like it was broken. The bed was also very firm so I didn't sleep much as couldn't get comfortable. I was quite disappointed as this was the upgraded room. However on a positive note the food was good and staff were friendly.
