Liked: great place top stay , staff were great , room was much better than I expected it to be. I travelled for work but it was so good we are going back as a family and have booked 3 rooms as we have a family party in the area.Breakfast was great value for money , excellent produce

Disliked: Weren’t able to check in early but didn’t get a reply to my email asking about early check in. Was just lucky didn’t have a taxi otherwise would of been stuck 😒

On a budget and in...

Liked: We had paid for the bigger room thankfully. There was a brand new bathroom which was lovely.
Disliked: We had paid for the bigger room thankfully. The bed was not comfy. The carpet smelt and felt of 'Shake n vac'. Walls are paper thin. My son's room was tiny, I would not have stayed in this room. £10 for a porridge breakfast, was too expensive, so we drove to Inverness instead.

Gorgeous place great hospitality

Liked: We absolutely loved the area, the facilities and the staff/owners were fantastic, the food was absolutely superb and all made by the owners themselves. We arrived to the sound of what I thought was someone in their workshop but it was actually the owner again chopping wood for the log fire inside the bar we will definitely be going back xx
Disliked: There wasn't anything we didn't like

Hidden Gem

Liked: The helpful nature of the staff couldn’t have been better.The room was immaculately clean, warm and comfortable.The place was very friendly and that shows with the numbers of the local people using the place as well.There was no food on site but this was easily overcome with local arrangements with a restaurant 100 yards away and a good cafe for breakfast the same distance the other way. Both were excellent establishments with great food and easy prices.
Disliked: If I was staying more than one night the room would have been a little on the small size but to be honest I would not be put off staying longer because everything else was so good.
