Disliked: The hotel is in dire need of remodeling. The floors are like a roller coaster. The furnishings are old, the window units can barely cool the room

Disliked: It's hot inside the inn. It's only comfortable when you are inside your room with AC. Breakfast is poor.

Liked: We spent two wonderful nights at Thayers Inn in Littleton, and the experience was truly unforgettable. Dating back to 1846, this charming hotel feels like a step back in time—in the best way possible. It's full of character, history, and warmth, offering a unique and peaceful atmosphere that’s hard to find these days.The location is absolutely magical—right next to the river, with beautiful views from several terraces that guests can freely access. Despite being right in the heart of town, just steps away from restaurants, shops, and other attractions, the hotel remains calm and relaxing.Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Each morning, we enjoyed a generous complimentary breakfast with a wide variety of delicious options—high-quality cookies, cakes, brownies, yogurt, orange juice, coffee, and more. It was the perfect start to each day.The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and warm—they truly made us feel welcome. We are already looking forward to returning to this magical place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, historic stay in the heart of an absolutely adorable town.
