Great place, but marred by...

Disliked: Received a number of parking fines from local council for parking in the parking area. Clearly their permit system not working too well! Query to the hotel on this is as yet unanswered

Terrible, avoid at all costs

Liked: Location was convenient, that's the only positive
Disliked: They were doing active building works on the floor they put us on, including in the room next door from 8am. Room was dusty and dirty, bathroom was mouldy.

Good for a short stay...

Liked: Large comfortable room and bed.
Disliked: Breakfast was average. Coffee weak breakfast not very hot.

Fantastic value for money, perfect...

Liked: The staff were all friendly helpful well trained and came over as loving what they do. Everywhere was very clean, comfortable and homely. All staff should be made aware how exceptional their service is.
Disliked: The only small negative was the heat in the room. There was a room fan but as we were upstairs the humidity seemed to rise.

Nice hotel but rooms need...

Liked: Hotel is smart looking inside and out - room was nicely fitted and comfortable. Bar area - inside and out are large and comfortable.
Disliked: Room was unbearably hot overnight - could only open windows a little due to 'safety stays'. Rooms need A/C. Bathroom was bizarre as the shower was too low to stand under so you had to crouch to have a shower.
