The Spotlight on Ten Manchester Street Hotel

Stylish Comfort in Marylebone, Minutes from the Music

Modern luxury meets classic elegance at Ten Manchester Street Hotel, a boutique 4-star stay tucked into one of London’s most charming neighborhoods. Just a short walk from Oxford Street and Bond Street, this hotel blends a quiet, upscale vibe with easy access to London’s vibrant music and nightlife scene. With plush rooms, a renowned cigar lounge, and a relaxed Italian restaurant onsite, it’s a chic base for concert-goers looking to unwind in style.

Why Concert-goers love it

Set just 5 minutes from Baker Street Underground Station, this hotel makes late-night transport a breeze after gigs across the city. Staying here means you’re close to central venues but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. With a 12:00 checkout, you can sleep in after a late show, and the cozy lounge offers a great place to decompress with a nightcap or a cigar.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a stylish, central base
  • Solo travelers chasing a once-in-a-lifetime concert experience
  • Couples making a romantic weekend of it
  • Fans who want a quieter, more refined post-concert recovery
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who still want boutique quality

Food and Drink Options

Dieci, the hotel’s in-house Italian restaurant, is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ideal for pre-show dinners or post-show bites. The laid-back lounge serves rare wines by the glass and fresh antipasti. While there’s no 24/7 dining or room service, the central location means you’re steps from late-night eateries in Marylebone and nearby Soho.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself doesn’t host live music, you’re close to some of London’s best nightlife. The cigar terrace and lounge offer a unique way to wind down with premium hand-rolled Havanas. For those looking to keep the night going, bars and lounges around Bond Street and Soho are within walking distance or a quick cab ride away.

What People Say

Guests rave about the charming location, attentive staff, and spotlessly clean rooms. The plush beds and rain showers get consistent praise, and the cigar lounge is a rare luxury that sets this hotel apart. Reviewers also love the boutique feel and quiet atmosphere despite being so close to the action.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests note that rooms can be a bit compact, and the hotel’s boutique vibe means fewer on-site amenities than a large chain. If you're expecting a buzzing lobby bar or late-night snacks, you'll need to venture out. But for many, the trade-off is worth it for the peace and charm.

The Bottom Line

With its refined atmosphere, central location, and easy transport links, Ten Manchester Street Hotel is a stylish and peaceful choice for concert-goers looking to explore London’s music scene by night and relax in comfort by day.

Disappointing, low value for money....

Liked: Size of the room and the bathroom.
Disliked: Room for 385£/night was in the basement with people from the outside having the possibility to look into the room. Very limited light and not refurbished, far from the hotel photos.

A charming hotel, lovely location,...

Liked: It was a nice quiet location, charming outside the front. Decoration was nice, the decor theme of the hotel is charming, intimate and comfortable. Lovely friendly attentive staff. We had light bites in the restaurant in the afternoon, and that was delicious. Those Parmesan churros are to die for!!
Disliked: The one main niggle was the massive stain on the bedroom floor. The carpet needs replacing, it’s old marked and faded and really lets the room down. Whilst the room was very clean the floor made it appear mucky. Which is a shame for such a lovely hotel. Also, I would maybe think about increasing the portion size or adding some items to their full English breakfast for the amount charged for it.

Great hotel, great location, comfortable...

Liked: Room was not big but well equipped, clean and very comfortable bed. If there can be one complaint, is that there are not sufficient power sockets. Location being on Manchester Street is quiet but very central. Easy walk to Oxford Street, Marylebone and so on. Bed deserves a great mention as it was super comfortable. The TV system is difficult to operate and my room's remote did not work properly so had to manually use + and - on the Skybox.
Disliked: Check out at 11am is something I dislike. I think 12 noon is fair and should be the standard for a hotel of this stature. Perhaps there should be disabled access or elderly access for the front entrance which involves quite steep 5-6 steps which my elderly parents managed but was a challenge after a day out.
