Liked: Clean and just look perfect for what we required

Amazing.

Liked: We received a lovely welcome and felt that nothing was to much trouble. We ate in the restaurant and can honestly say the food and the staff were outstanding. Breakfast was well cooked and presented. We will stay again.
Disliked: I cannot fault our stay.

Lovely place to stay, great rooms and food

Liked: Lovely staff, friendly and helpful. Beautiful room. Very comfortable. Great breakfast and a dinner.

Exceptional

Liked: The position of the hotel in the town. Also the hamper breakfast, never had one before, but there was a lot of choice.
Disliked: There was nothing I didn't like.

Disliked: Was a good location but too quiet in the evening 8.15 we were the only guests having a quiet drink

Nice hotel and food, but a little expensive

Liked: Well located for the St Cuthbert's Way walk. Nice comfortable and clean room. Nice dinner and breakfast. Apple crumble dessert to die for!
Disliked: A little expensive. Suspect due to it's the only hotel for a few miles and on the St Cuthbert's Way. Most expensive of 5 x hotels we booked during our tour of Scotland and England, but the less expensive hotels were equal or slightly better standard.
