Accommodations were nice, but we...

Liked: The location was very convenient and the check in process and people who worked there were so helpful and nice.
Disliked: It was too noisy for me. I knew that could be the case going in, but I wasn't quite prepared for how loud the music in Temple Bar would be and how long it would go on. After the bar closed there were other noises like loading the kegs, pigeon swarming, fight in the street, and street cleaning that also made it difficult for us to sleep.

Liked: Room modern and clean
Disliked: Probably the worst place to put an hotel unless the plan is to spend the nights in pubs and sleep during the day. Extremely loud noise from the pubs/street until about 3.00am and then from the cleaning of the street around 6.00-7.00am. And if this was not enough there was noise inside the room every 5-10 minutes (could not figure out the origin). Maybe there are some rooms quieter on the other side of the hotel but do not book without asking….

The location and room size...

Liked: We didnt realized the room was directly over the bar, so the music was heard/felt under the floor and the patrons were loud outside our window. But, we never used the thoughtful ear plugs and were still able to sleep. We truly enjoyed the location and liveliness. It was central to everything we had to do.
Disliked: The first metal door is narrow and difficult to hold open while entering through it, especially with a backpack on.European's definition of air conditioning (AC) Is not the same as Americans. We've learned that over hear, AC means a portable fan, not a machine that uses refrigerant to actually make the air colder, not just blow the warm air around. But Temple Bar did at least have a large fan that blew pretty hard.
