Exceptional

Liked: Quick check in, helpful staff, good space for one, amazing AC and great shower. Literally next to Temple Bar and close to bus stop.
Disliked: I don't have anything bad to say. Just for awareness, it has no elevator, just keep that in mind.

Good single room

Liked: As a single person, I had a small room on the 3rd floor. It was clean and the bed comfortable. Bathroom small but workable. Definitely a one person room. Tea and electric kettle in room was nice. Able to walk everywhere from this hotel. Very well located.
Disliked: I didn’t love that there was no window. Only a skylight. Which wouldn’t be of any use in a fire. No lift so I wouldn’t recommend it if you are older, have big luggage or health problems

Exceptional

Liked: Fantastic location, clean and modern rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Perfect for those wanting to be in the middle of the temple lane bar area.
Disliked: No facilities but this was fine for us as we just wanted a place to sleep as we were always out exploring

Brilliant place as long as...

Liked: Location fantastic. Had everything we needed. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Disliked: We expected street noise because of the location but it literally sounded like we had windows open when we didn’t. You could see the windows were ill fitting and daylight visible in areas between wall and window. The sound proofing could easily be improved and make this place fantastic.

Expensive but what a cool...

Liked: This place is directly above Temple Bar! Like when you see a photo of the bar and you see the flowered window boxes in the apartment above the bar...it is the window boxes of this place. I did not know that when booking. I knew it was nearby. I also didn't realize that it was an apartment w/ a kitchen and bedrooms were up another floor. It was shockingly quiet [muted] in there given the noise out on the street. I have food allergies so was extremely happy to get to a nearby grocery store and be able to cook something I knew wouldn't give me a reaction! It was a very cool place to stay! It was also nice that some could stay in and others go out and because we were all so close we could join others later quite easily. This would not be possible if we had to take an Uber to get to a location.
Disliked: It was also a very expensive place to stay. I couldn't believe how expensive every bed for rent in Dublin was! I chose this because of the twin bed options even though it was more expensive than two queens only slightly further away. Definitely use the kitchen to save on a couple of meals to make up for the expense of the place. Also, watch out for the low-ish iron bars when going out to the street. My son hit his head and came back up w/ a very bloody head. [He was fine...washed it off and put pressure on it for a bit and then went back out. Just tender for a few days.] Beds were comfy and the fans in the bedroom were great but of course, a/c would have been better. Other negatives were that one dishwasher rack was missing and prongs broken on the remaining. The pans were a very low quality that resulted in items sticking to them. There were no cooking amenities like salt and oil that are typically present in places w/ kitchen facilities. The lack of oil and cheap pans made cleanup rather sad b/c of things sticking. A ceramic coated frying pan [not expensive] would be a great improvement.

Good.

Liked: Very clean. Friendly check-in. Good location.
Disliked: No parking. Annoying automated messages being received which required clarification e.g. booked a room with 3 beds, message said this was subject to availability. However I was guaranteed 3 beds when I made contact directly. Despite this, I received that same message a further 3 times.
