Comfortable home with all the...

Liked: Great location. We love the Valle Crucis Community Park close by.
Disliked: Wish other guests sat at larger table in dining room instead of off by themselves at tables for two. They weren’t as friendly as other B & Bs we’ve stayed at. Perhaps for the smaller groups, only the large table could be set as the only option. But I’m guessing someone else wouldn’t like that.

Liked: Beautiful house in a gorgeous valley. The porch was so peaceful. Breakfast was fantastic and Tessa and Bernard were so welcoming.

Good food, nice location, friendly...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. The best food we’ve ever had at a hotel. Maybe they could go for seconds.
Disliked: The room was sloppy, furniture old, the rug in very bad shape and windows didn’t work.

Disliked: The Taylor House is a beautiful place with lovely grounds. However, it is in need of a total refurbishing. A makeover would bring the house to top notch, however, in it's current state I would have a hard time recommending it to friends,
