Beautiful, tranquil location with exceptional...
Liked: Perfect location. Very still and peaceful. Lots of spaces in and around the hotel to sit and enjoy a drink with or without company. Staff could not have been more helpful, welcoming and friendly
Disliked: Only (minor) downside of room was the temperature in the shower difficult to control - very hot or warm - and only had overhead shower head

poor service and quality for...
Liked: The property is in a beautiful site overlooking loch awe
Disliked: The property had apparently recently been bought over. Hence most of the staff were new and not trained/experienced. Receptionist was extremely rude to me and this was reported to the manager. The hotel is tired and coulddo with somemoney spent on it doing it up. Walls dirty in roomsand some paint unfinished. We stayed with our dogs and treated like second class citizens as the staff focussed on the main restaurant during meal times. Selection of food was limited either fried or oven cooked. we found out that this was due to the gas supply being cut off. Breakfast was served buffet style and was cold and poor quality produce. Out of our 4 day stay i only paid for one meal as the other were far below standard. There was a lovely sitting area outside near the loch but only one parasol available for 6 tables and it was over 30o during our stay. Also the septic tank overflowed into the lawn next to the sitting area and some children were playing in it. NOT good enough for the money paid!!!! wouldn’t return which is a shame as a beautiful breath taking location
