Exceptional

Lovely place to stay in...
Liked: Delicious gourmet breakfast (included in our room rate) and friendly staff. Very nice grounds, quaint historic building, and comfortable common areas (indoor and outdoor).
Disliked: The double queen room was a bit small in terms of floor space.

Warm Hospitality with attention to...
Liked: The staff were attentive to customers’ needs. Their attention to details were remarkable. A sumptuous breakfast similar to a hotel setting. Big space for car park parking is appropriated.

Nice Stay
Liked: The atmosphere, clean room/bathroom-amazing, facilities were great and the staff very informative and friendly. We over-all loved the property. Dining room was very pretty, loved the gift shop, staff, food, all good!
Disliked: We are use to a king bed, the very high (and I'm short) queen bed right under the heater that was loud and blew on me all night, was just not comfortable and we could not sleep. My fault for not looking at the photos in the room on the bed height and where the heater was placed.

Lovely property with a fantastic...
Liked: The property was well appointed and beautiful. The included breakfast was exceptional. It was within easy walking distance of the university and downtown, which meant staying for our daughter's convocation was perfect.

Perfect for a retreat from...
Liked: It was a long drive to Wolfville, but well worth the wait! The property is beautiful, and we were warmly greeted by the front desk by I believe Malachai (so sorry if I butchered the name or spelling!). He proceeded to efficiently check us in, set up our complimentary breakfast reservation in the morning, and even walked us to the room to explain all the features, the TV, the HVAC, etc. The room was delightful, the breakfast was delicious, and every employee was beyond nice. By far the best hotel stay I've had in years, possibly ever. I highly recommend the confit tomato toast for breakfast. 10/10 experience.
Disliked: Nothing; we stayed for two nights and it was delightful. If we didn't have to hit the road so early the morning we checked out, I would've definitely stayed for the breakfast again.
