Overpriced
Liked: The bed was comfy and the breakfast was good (when they got your food order right)
Disliked: Overpriced for what you got, rooms were warm, shower was in bath and very high to get in and out. On the second day they messed up our breakfasts order then the staff were getting annoyed at us when we tried to get it resolved. The spa was very small. Overall the hotel was fine but for the price it just wasn’t worth it.

A good place with friendly...
Liked: Pleasant location and helpful welcoming staff, carried cases upstairs for us old people. THERE IS NO LIFT. We were celebrating my wife's 80th birthday and they rose to the occasion by putting loads of balloons on the room and little trays of chocolates and strawberries. with message in chocolate.. Lovely touch. Hot tub was good and large.
Disliked: The room and ensuite bathroom were very small for the price we paid. On arrival we were told: you booked with Booking.com so you have a small room. Not the sort of thing you say to the wife when the husband paid for it! The room was so small that when the many big balloons fell off the bed there was no room to walk round it. So the room and the restaurant were rather over-priced but no doubt as advertised.

Great stay. Happy to visit...
Liked: Beautiful building with awesome decor. Loved the history of the place and the gardens. Food was amazing and staff were exceptional.
Disliked: Wish the bed was a little bigger.

It was a nice venue...
Liked: The greeting card in my room was a nice touch. The staff were very good
Disliked: The carpet up to my room was very tired looking. Also the spa Jacuzzi and sauna opening time at 9 was too late, I needed to access these before going to a work conference at 10. The pillows were not that comfortable which made my sleep more challenging in an already unfamiliar place.
